Adainty, vintage, articulated charm, made in 14k yellow gold by the well-known New York jewelersSloan& Co. This little charm is modeled after a wicker picnic basket— its lid opens to reveal a tiny fish, and a bottle of wine, stored inside! These gold morsels are anchored to the inside of the picnic basket with a fine chain. Once they are tucked away, the basket's lid snaps securely closed. This little charm has a chain "handle" thatis suspended from an oval jump ring. Marked 14k, for purity, and with the Sloan& Co lyre.
